Wednesday Weigh-In
Join along in the fun! Join the Blog To Fit Wednesday Weigh-In.
Every Wednesday, we here at Blog To Fit are going to weigh in and post our results. We'd like to extend an invitation for you to do the same.
All you need to do is post your weigh in results in the comments section. You can post your results like this:
Last week: (weight)
This week: (weight)
Pounds lost (or gained):
How many pounds left to lose:
Additionally, we'd like to hear your success stories and encourage you to help spread word of our community by sharing your stories with readers on your blog. So, taking a cue from the uber popular Wordless Wednesday, we're going to do something similar.
If you post a Wednesday Weigh-In post on your blog, stop by here and let us know in the comments section of that week's Wednesday Weigh-In post. Each Friday, we will post a list of all the Wednesday Weigh-In participants and will spotlight some of the more successful or touching, humorous, or just plain cool posts of the week.
If you'd like to help spread the word about Weigh-In Wednesdays, feel free to cut and paste the code for one of these badges to place in your blog.

For some reason I had trouble with copying and pasting the code. It didn’t display the image. So if others have trouble and are using wordpress (free hosting version), here’s what I did.
1. Saved image to disk.
2. When creating a post with the image: Choose “Add and Image” under Add Media.
3. Click on Choose Files to Upload.
4. Then in the updated screen, add http://www.blogtofit.com to the link url. (Make sure to do this step so Blog to Fit can have a link to it from your post.)

Avlor, I had exactly the same problem. I’m not sure if Dave is aware. I’ll have a word with him.
Thanks for the work -around though.

Thanks, Avlor. Somehow I completely botched the html when I was pasting into here. I went in and fixed everything and it SHOULD be working now. Thank you VERY much for providing an alternate method. I appreciate it.
Correction, it is not working yet. Wordpress is messing up the code. I am looking into a solution.

Good God no! I will contact the site’s owner immediately and demand it be taken down. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

This is so weird.
Back in November I came up with the idea to weigh myself weekly and post the result on my blog. I decided to call it “Wednesday Weigh-In.” I had no idea anyone else was doing this.
What I do differently from you is that I include Body Mass Index. I actually wrote a simple Javascript to calculate it based on the week’s weight and my height. I also added waist measurement after feedback from Petra Wise. Also, waist size appears to be an important indicator of health for men.
You’re welcome to copy that BMI calculator code. You’ll need to select a weigh-in post and then view its source.
Good luck with your weight loss goals!
